Madonna – $590 million

The Queen of Pop herself, Madonna, went from rags to immense riches as a phenomenon in the pop and music industry in general. She is known for being rather controversial with her dramatic concert theatrics and sultry music videos. Madonna entered the music career in 1979 and has amazingly continued to work extremely hard throughout the decades. Madonna started out in New York City as a dancer, but would sign with Sire Labels in 1982.
Fats Domino – $8 million
Greatest Hits: Jambalaya, Ain’t That a Shame, Lady Madonna
New Orleans produced many fantastic artists in many genres, with Fats Domino being a saint in the rock ‘n roll genre. But Fats’ influence would go far beyond just rock, as he would inspire many R&B artists and the genre as a whole. Between 1955 and 1960 Domino enjoyed more than sixty-five million album sales and managed to achieved eleven entries into the top ten singles list. Domino might not have been the most vocal or charismatic figure, being rather shy, but his legacy is objectively monumental.
