Surgery Tools not Sterilized
Certain germs affect people, plants, animals, and every living being that roams this earth. Of course, medical-proof tests have shown us that there are certain germs in our body (healthy to some extent) while there are some that are bent on getting rid of us from the planet. In the olden days, many people died as a result of contracting fatal germs and bacteria because they were not aware of what germs are and how they could get them. Luckily, new tests and inventions were created in the 1800s that saw a reduction in the deaths.
Surgery Tools Not Sterilized
Doctors in those days didn’t know what it was like to clean their tools after performing surgery, so germs would travel from one patient to another and develop deadly complications. They had no idea their tools needed to be sterilized, but then again, hygiene practices in those days were highly questionable.
