Putting his suspicions aside, Christopher agreed to allow Mr. Rudall to accompany him to the mouth of the mine shaft. The two carefully picked their way through the thick brushes and densely packed trees. Even though all that greenery, Christopher caught wind of the heavy, dark skies and the obvious signs of an incoming storm. This wasn’t the type of place that anyone wanted to be caught in far out from the shelter.

The men finally reached the mine entrance and slowly began penetrating its foreboding blackness once more. They soon reached the area where the walls were so brilliantly alive with the shining substance. That was when Mr. Rudall turned to Christopher quite severely and began explaining just what they were looking at. What the estate agent had to say about Christopher’s mine would elevate the situation to a whole new level of wonder.
