In the 1950s, Mercury, Nevada, was a thriving town that had many businesses, restaurants, and a large number of people working in the nuclear industry. Indeed, nuclear testing in the United States is to blame for another restricted region, this one is the planet, Mercury. There are rumors that there are still several hundred people living in the town at the present day, but no one can confirm this since the only outsiders who are permitted in the village are credentialed, government researchers.
