Even though people had fancy security cameras and alarms installed, the perpetrator still managed to go undetected. Law enforcement officers were fuming at the level of criminal skill they were up against. While police received multiple tip-offs, there was little they could do without a basic ID or sketch from a witness. The problem was that nobody had seen anything, of course.

At one point, the community decided they had had enough. A report was filed for the arrest of “Hermit Hermit”, a faceless perpetrator that was now being more actively pursued.
