Jokes Aside
As Hawn’s turn to speak came along, she brought up the rather ambiguous wedding reference her daughter had just made, asking humorously: “Did we just get married?” Hawn was quick to clear up anyone’s ideas that the golden couple might get married, adding that, “We’ve never celebrated this before, but I’m not going to pop the question.”

“Marriage is an interesting psychological thing,” Hawn was merely repeating her opinions she had spoken about on Loose Women, “If you need to feel bound to someone, then it’s important to be married.” Hawn continued to build on that point by saying that she appreciated the individuality and breathing room her unusual relationship provided. “There’s something psychological about not being married. It gives you the freedom to make decisions one way or the other,” Hawn’s theory appears to explore her motivation for having lived with Kurt for so long.
Her and Kurt’s union has progressed so smoothly as they don’t maintain regulations. “For me, I choose to stay, and we like this decision,” explained Hawn.
