With a young Judy Garland paving the way (excuse the pun – referring to the Yellow Brick Road) for this type of fantasy movie, even if she did nothing else with her career, this movie would’ve been enough. The story follows Garland’s character, Dorothy, and her dog, Toto, who gets swept away by a Kansas tornado and find themselves in a magical city called Oz. This is a timeless classic with numerous iconic pieces in.

A classic high school film about five teens from totally different backgrounds and their opposing personalities, who actually end up becoming friends in the long run. This just goes to show that opposites really do attract. The story shows how they overcome and oversee their differences and see each other as individuals and can actually work together.
