The Big Bang Theory has been running for 11 seasons, and in all that, they have given us so many reasons to smile, cry, get shocked, and fall in love with science all over again. Funny enough, a lot of us don’t even understand half of what they were talking about, but it was the kind of energy fans needed to keep them going. The show first began back in 2007 and to date, has become one of the most popular and highly-rated TV comedy shows. For that reason, we have decided to dig deeper into the show to learn more about the characters from the nerdy to the “normal” figure on your screens.

Meeting The Cast Of The Big Bang Theory 11 Seasons After
John Galecki – Leornard Hofstadter
John Galecki played two roles – one as Leonard Hofstadter, the highly-nerdy physicist in The Big Bang Theory. He also played David Healy, an awkward boyfriend during his “Roseanne” days. This actor is over 40-years-old. In 2018, Galecki will pull back his role as Healy for an eight-episode mini-series. You will surely love this cellist character on this show, and if you are the impatient type, you can always run back to The Big Bang Theory…after all, there is so much to keep you excited there.

John Galecki – Leornard Hofstadter
Jim Parsons – Sheldon Cooper
Jim Parsons played Sheldon Cooper’s role, and we could all agree that the show would not be the same without him, right? Well, let’s not focus on that for now! Parsons always wanted to become an actor, and from his role on the show, we are glad he pursued that dream.
His role on the show has earned him lots of recognition, including a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Award. He also made his Broadway debut in 2011, and six years later, in 2017, he got married to Todd Spiewak, his long time partner.

Jim Parsons – Sheldon Cooper
Wil Wheaton – Himself
A lot of us will know Wil Wheaton from Star Trek: The Next Generation, where he played the role of Wesley Crusher. In The Big Bang Theory, he is the popular archenemy of Sheldon and has been that way up to season five of the show. In addition to being an actor, Wheaton is also a voice actor, writer, and host & co-creator of the popular YouTube board game, TableTop.
The actor was a recent cast member on Whose Line is it Anyway? Bill Nye Saves the World, two popular TV series. He is 48 years old.

Wil Wheaton Himself
Laurie Metcalf – Mary Cooper
We can say Laurie Metcalf is a television royalty as back in 1988 when she got the role of Jackie Harris on Roseanne, she did a great job up until 1997. We would agree with her “self-described” workaholic attitude as she has won for herself lots of awards and credible nominations.
However, her role as Mary Cooper was so far-fetched as it related to her son, Sheldon, who we know was a highly-intelligent character. It was obvious!

Laurie Metcalf Mary Cooper
Sara Gilbert – Leslie Winkle
Here we have another Roseanne alum as it somehow seems The Big Bang Theory and Roseanne have a link and share a lot between each other. Aside from those two shows, Sara also appeared in films like Will & Grace, 24, and Private Practice.
As of 2010, the actress has been the co-host and executive producer for The Talk, a popular talk show. Some of you would notice she went from one of the main characters to mere guest appearances as apparently, the producers were unable to come up with new content for her role.

Sara Gilbert Leslie Winkle
Mayim Bialik – Amy Fowler
The role of Amy Fowler was Sheldon’s girlfriend, who was as intelligent as he was and was played by Mayim Bialik. Interestingly, she is not just a smarty pant in the show but also in real life as she is the proud owner of a BS degree in neuroscience. She also has certifications in Hebrew and Jewish studies. Oh, let us not forget, she also has her Ph.D. in neuroscience—a smart one in real sense. Bialik, who classifies herself as a feminist, has been nominated numerous times for the Primetime Emmy Awards and is currently 43-years-old.

Mayim Bialik – Amy Fowler
Simon Helberg – Howard Wolowitz
Simon Helberg played the role of Howard Wolowitz as an astronaut and engineer with a very stressful mother. The actor is also a musician and a comedian.

Raj, the British-Indian actor, is our next character. After graduating from college, he started acting in American-based TV ads and other British-based roles. He also released his book, Yes, My Accent is Real, in 2015. His character on The Big Bang Theory has allowed him to be the World’s third-highest paid actor and is now married to 2006 Miss India’s winner, Neha Kapur. They both live in Los Angeles.

Kunal Nayyar Rajesh Koothrappali
Kevin Sussman – Stuart Bloom
Stuart Bloom is the character fans have come to love that owns The Comic Center of Pasadena. In addition to his character on The Big Bang Theory, some of us might have also seen him on Ugly Betty as Walter. Going on 50-years-old, the actor was promoted to a more serious figure on the show after the sixth season. This sure was a great accomplishment for his career.

Kevin Sussman – Stuart Bloom

Torresani has also acted in many other films to include Husbands, JAG, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Aarti Mann Priya Koothrappali
Sara Rue – Stephanie Barnett
Stephanie Barnett graced the screens in season two and can be remembered as the girl that had a pretty weird relationship with Sheldon. Well, we have to agree that Sheldon and Amy were the true match and were destined to be together – no apologies.
A lot of you may recognize Sara from other films like Bones, Less than Perfect, Rules of Engagement, and Popular.

Sara Rue – Stephanie Barnett
Margo Harshman – Alex Jensen
Fond of Alex? Played by Margo Harshman, Alex was Sheldon’s assistant and a student at Caltech Physics in the doctoral program. For most millennials who watch the show, they will recognize Alex from Disney Channel’s Even Stevens, where she played Tawny Dean. You will also recognize her as Timothy McGee’s paraplegic wife, Delilah Fielding, on the hit show NCIS.
The San Diego native has been the camera-friendly lady from as early as age two when she was part of a beauty pageant. She also knew she wanted to venture into acting for a long time.

Margo Harshman Alex Jensen
Brian Patrick Wade – Kurt
Kurt is the famous ex-boyfriend of Penny. He also plays other roles such as Captain Craig Schwetje from Generation Kill and Alpha Werewolf in Teen Wolf.
Wade is also popular outside of acting as he is a physical trainer. We see very much how that comes in as on CSI: Miami, we see him as the hunky lap-dancing guy.

Brian Patrick – Wade Kurt
Charlotte Newhouse – Joy
Joy’s character was brief on the show, but we can all agree that it was a memorable one. Played by Charlotte Newhouse, Joy was Bernadette’s friend. In addition to her role in The Big Bang Theory, she also appeared in Brainstorm as Jules Hayes and Professor Baker in Community.
Charlotte is an actress and writer and has achieved a lot throughout her career. Bear in mind this Idiotsitter was classified only as a web series back in 2014 before the big 2016 hit on Comedy Central.

Charlotte Newhouse Joy

Valerie Azlynn – Alicia
Brooke D’Orsay – Christy Vanderbel
Do you remember Penny’s friend from home who was engaged to her cousin? Well, that would be Christy, whose role was played by Brooke D’Orsay. She is also a casted member of Two & a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, and Royal Pains. To date, the actress has taken a break from acting, but we hope she will make a return soon enough. But, if she doesn’t decide to go back to acting, we hope she will venture into a dream she finds passionate.

Brooke DOrsay Christy Vanderbel
Steven Yeun – Sebastian
Well, one thing is for sure, while Sebastian (Steven Yeun) was Sheldon’s roommate, he didn’t have one bit of love for him, and that was pretty crazy. Leonard would later become Sheldon’s roommate. After his appearances in The Big Bang Theory, he would cast on The Walking Dead for seven seasons. So, if you ask us, we would say he is doing quite well for himself.

Steven Yeun – Sebastian
Riki Lindhome – Ramona Nowitzki
Riki Lindhome had the role of Ramona Nowitzki, who worked as a Caltech and was famous for her mentality of always stalking Sheldon. But, besides being an actor, Harelik is also a playwright. He has made several appearances in blockbuster movies like Seinfeld, Jurassic Park III, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, and so much more.

Mark Harelik Dr Eric Gablehauser
Ian Scott Rudolph – Captain Sweatpants

Rudolph has only had minor roles in other films, but The Big Bang Theory has been a major hit for him. This, we can say, is a great accomplishment for him.

Ian Scott Rudolph Captain Sweatpants
Eliza Dushku – Angela Page
A lot of you will agree with me. If I say, Eliza Dushku, who played Angela Page, is an all-time favorite, and as it relates to slayers go, she’s number one. But, for The Big Bang Theory, she plays the role of an FBI agent who was in charge of investigating Howard, who had applied for a position on the Equipped Surveillance Satellite Team.

Well, we might have never seen the face of Debbie Wolowitz (played by Carol Ann Susi), but we know one thing for sure – she was the ever-stressful mother of Howard. However, we all loved her for her loud New Jersey accent, which was a major stand-out on the show.
Fate would not have Carol Ann to live forever, though, as, at the age of 62, she died after a long battle with cancer. Her passing has jolted a lot of people including the producers of the show who showered her memories with heart-touching tributes.

Kate Micucci played the role of Lucy on The Big Bang Theory, and while with Raj, they were a really cute couple. They were both a goofy pair, and we wished they had become a serious item. Micucci has done a lot of voice-over roles in popular movies like Scooby-Doo and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As we write, Kate appears in Steven Universe as the voice of Sadie, in Milo Murphy’s Law as Sara Murphy, in Nature Cat as Daisy, in Scooby-Doo as Velma Dinkley, and in DuckTales as Vanderquack.

Kaley Cuoco Penny Hofstadter
We are sure we do not need to tell you who Kaley Cuoco is or who her character, Penny is. Yeah, we know. Cuoco has her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is the founder of #girlpower, Norman Productions series.
When the actress turned 32-years-old, her boyfriend, Karl Cook, who is an equestrian, popped the big question, and we are telling you, it is an emotional experience you will enjoy. You can see them on just about all social media.
Melissa Rauch – Bernadette Wolowitz
VH1’s Best Week Ever TV show was Melissa Rauch’s first major hit. The role of Bernadette started in 2009 when Rauch was cast in the movie. We have to admit that her role is a major significance as it helped to keep the team together.
Rauch also had major hits such as the voice of Harley Quinn in the animated flick Batman and Harley Quinn. She also did the voice of Light Thief in Blaze and the Monster Machine. It was during a 2017 episode.
