Peter Ostrum
Some actors only ever feature in a single role, however, in Ostrum’s case, his one performance was enough for a lifetime of fame and praise. 20th-century movie boffins will recognize Ostrum from his part as Charlie Bucket in the cinematic adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. After turning down the opportunity to star in the Willy Wonka trilogy, Ostrum entered the veterinary world towards aiding cattle and horses.
