Nicholas Parsons
The British actor, television broadcaster, and radio host, Nicholas Parsons, was perhaps better regarded for the latter two occupations than as an actor. He would appear in Just a Minute for many years as the host of the leading game show. He would work for more than sixty years at entertaining people. Parsons’ death was not shocking, given that he was 97 at the time that he contracted an illness, but it was no less sad.
Terry Jones
He might have been a poet, comedian, writer, and presenter, but Terry Jones will be best remembered for his invaluable part in the Monty Python troupe. He coined one of the most famous lines in the many films that the funny man produced, in Monty Python’s Life of Brian where he played the main character’s mother. Terry would play various roles during this film. Jones would sadly pass away after a long time spent struggling with dementia.
