Rupert Everett won a BAFTA for his Another Nation performance in 1984. He earned a lot of praise in his debut of a gay student role. Since he was blessed with attractive physical features, he was cast in several bad boy roles. Aside from this, he also attempted to make it in the music industry, but things didn’t pan out for him. He was more perceived as a good actor than a musician by his fans and to prove this further, he won a Golden Globe and another BAFTA for My Best Friend’s Wedding.

He’s also started writing and so far, he’s written a novel and two memoirs. Furthermore, he also used his platform to raise awareness and speak up on certain issues like same-sex marriage. He’s obviously done a lot of good in his life.
