James needed a bigger shovel, which he thankfully had in his garage. He wanted to remove the plastic bag and was not going to take no for an answer, even if a monster emerged from the earth.

With his heavy-duty shovel in hand, James plunged into the ground, removing a large scoop of wet grass and soil. He was making good progress, and eventually, he had cleared enough ground to reach in and try his luck with the plastic bag again. Despite how old it looked, the bag was still stubbornly stuck in place.
Endless
James wiped the sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand as he assumed that the plastic invader was far larger than he had first believed. That didn’t stop him from digging, however. He continued to clear a path through the ground until he was on the other side of the yard.

James was at a loss for words. He had dug all the way to the end of the grass. All that he could do was continue digging.
