First, this tattoo was definitely a mistake. the lovable Pikachu was known for its popping personality and character and the initial tattoo definitely was not able to capture that image. this was definitely a case where the project may have been a bit too much for the artist to handle properly which in turn made it a very depressing image, but the revival for it was an amazing thing to see because not only was the tattoo looking better, the presentation of the character was correct also.
