The Everly Brother That Got Cold Feet

Sibling rivalry is a common occurrence in family dynamics, but when you start a band with your brother, things can get complicated. The Everly Brothers was made up of Phil and Don Everly, which was a massive hit between the 50s and 60s’ country rock-and-roll scene. Songs like “All I Have to Do Is Dream” and “Bye Bye Love” were massive hits. It was in 1973 on a particularly dark day that Don confessed to Phil that he was “tired of being an Everly Brother” and arrived at the following concert inebriated. Phil then dismissed Don to perform the concert solo.

Adam And The Ants Was Left With Just Adam

Adam and the Ants was a new wave punk outfit that was most popular for its members’ pirate-inspired costumes as well as songs such as “Stand and Deliver” and “Ant Music”. Behind the scenes Malcolm McLaren, a music manager, was conspiring to steal Adam’s ant collection. The respective members were added to Annabella Lwin’s outfit to create Bow Wow Wow, who then produced “I Want Candy”. Adam wasn’t too deterred, however, as he continued with the band, albeit with new ants.
