Fruit juice sounds healthy because it comes from fruit, and a small glass can fit into a balanced breakfast. The problem starts when juice becomes the main drink every morning, especially in large amounts. A big glass of orange juice may contain the sugar from several oranges, but without the same fiber you would get from eating the whole fruit.
