Tsutomu Yamaguchi
Tsutomu Yamaguchi was present in Hiroshima in 1945, at the time when the city was subjected to the devastation caused by the atomic bomb dropped on the city. As a direct result of the bombings, Yamaguchi was one of the 160,000 people who were injured or killed. Burns covered his body, and he lost his vision for a short while.
