6. Rachael Ray
If you’re a child of the 19’s, you’ll definitely remember watching Rachael Ray do her thing on air when you got home from school. As it turns out, she loves animals just as much as cooking, although this landed her in hot water back in 2018. Rachael was launching a brand of dog food, apparently packed with natural ingredients, but in reality, this wasn’t the case.
One particularly alarming substance found in the food was glyphosate, otherwise known as a herbicide found in weed killers. After long proceedings, the case was later dismissed, and supermarket chains continued to stock the products. The media attention damaged her reputation as a dog lover, but she carries on resilient as ever, doing what she loves to the best of her abilities.
