Nigella Lawson is a beloved dessert queen that is known for her prim and proper demeanor on her own programs, and when she is a guest star on other shows. This image faced a serious stain when it was revealed that she was a cocaine user. Talking in court, she argued that she was never addicted, but had been a habitual user a couple of times.
The confession was made during a court case with two of her ex-employees. The pair of assistants had been accused of stealing a six-figure sum from Nigella, although they refuted the claims by saying she had given them permission to take the cash, in exchange for keeping the drug consumption private. Later, they were found not guilty and the case was settled.

It was an episode of Pioneer Woman that got Ree Drummond in trouble back in 2012. At the time, social media wasn’t the beast that it became a couple of years later. When the episode reaired in 2017, viewers were outraged by her culturally insensitive remarks, all related to a plate of chicken wings.
In the scene in question, she serves her family with spicy Asian wings as a “joke”, after they issue retorts for her having done so in the first place. Replacing them with American wings shortly after, with a “I wouldn’t do that to you!”, viewers were disgusted. Needless to say, the Food Network dialed up their Asian culture and cuisine shows shortly after, and the rest is history.
