A New Structure
When she was launched, this Grayback was 273 feet in length – though she was later enlarged to 317 feet – and a little more than 27 feet across her beam, despite the fact that she had been stretched. Her other weapons were eight conventional torpedo tubes, as well as the capability of firing Regulus I missiles, which were capable of delivering nuclear bombs. A total of two of them were placed in the stern of the vessel, with the remaining six being placed at the bow of the vessel.
