Six months after the story first broke, David let his followers know that the hive was going strong. He said they enjoy being around their new queen bee, and they keep her particularly close, having gone through a loss previously.

Not only that, but the homeowners who first “lived” with the bees expressed their happiness at hearing that the bees were doing well. They too had been able to move on with their lives, and were grateful for the opportunity to be a part of one of the most special and unique bee rescue stories in history.
