Mark’s decision
Mark’s face was a portrait of conflicted emotions as he looked at his sister. But when his gaze shifted to Sarah, the love in his eyes was unmistakable. He knew what he had to do. “Lisa, that’s enough,” he said, his voice steady yet tinged with sadness. “I love you, but this behavior is unacceptable. If you can’t support us today, then I need you to leave.” Lisa’s expression crumbled, shock and hurt washing over her. “You’re choosing her over your own family?” she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. “Yes,” Mark replied, his tone unwavering. “Because she’s my family now, too.”

Mark’s Decision
Ultimatum
Lisa’s eyes burned with fury as she closed the distance between herself and Mark. “Fine,” she hissed, her voice sharp and unrelenting. “But if you go through with this, you’ll lose me forever. Make your choice, Mark—her or your family.” A shocked murmur rippled through the crowd, the tension thick and suffocating. Sarah’s chest tightened at the weight of the ultimatum, but she stood firm, resolute in the face of the storm. Mark inhaled deeply, his gaze steady as it locked onto Lisa’s. “I’m sorry you feel that way,” he said, his voice calm yet unwavering. “But my decision is final. I choose Sarah. If you can’t accept that, then it might be time for you to leave.”
