The news
When Mark shared the news with his family, his parents remained silent, their disapproving expressions speaking louder than words. Lisa, however, erupted in frustration. “I can’t believe you want to marry her! Don’t you see she’s driving a wedge between you and your family?” she shouted, her voice trembling with anger. Mark, refusing to back down, fired back with equal intensity. “No, it’s not her—it’s you. You’re the ones pushing me away. What do you even have against her? She’s been nothing but kind and gracious to all of you!” His words hung in the air, heavy with emotion.

Not happy
No one could give Mark a clear answer. His father remained indifferent, while his mother and Lisa were visibly upset. Frustrated, he stormed out of the house that night and headed straight to Sarah. Being with her always brought him comfort—she was, without a doubt, the kindest and most caring person he knew.
