Intense Training
Prominent encyclopedias refer to the training methods used by Genghis Khan as equal to modern-day labor camps. Oftentimes, Mongol warriors were required to complete over 75 miles a day on horseback, in order for them to stay at the top of their game. Those that didn’t manage to get through the training were punished and shamed, often driving them to perform better then next time they mounted their steeds. The result? Deadly speed on the battlefield.
