A New Reality
It’s well known that the Americans had little intention of joining in on WWII, even once it had already started. Their goal was to supply Britain with ammunition, but after Pearl Harbor they were left with no choice but to get more involved.
A New Reality
This decision strengthened the overall position of the Allied forces. As indicated by the picture here, American troops were soon to face battle on a day to day basis, with troops looking on at some of the devastation caused by attacks from the other side.
