The Final Meal
The last meal that Jesus Christ shared with his disciples is a major event in Christianity. It is then clear why Renaissance painters were so enthused to painting the scene. But da Vinci would make a painting that was far more cryptic than his contemporaries’ works. Plenty of legends, debates, and conspiracy theories were borne of his special artwork.
