With so many paintings produced by the genius, it is understandable if many people struggle to decide whether an individual piece is actually his or not. Brendon Grosvenor is an art historian that penned an article in the Financial Times in 2014 where he described how during the early 20th century, people believed that the master artist had produced between 600 and 650 pieces. As the 1970s came about, however, experts reduced this number to about 250.
