Follow The Beep
Sweeping his metal detector from one side to another side, Mike waited anxiously to hear its usual low humming beep, signifying that there was something in the area he was exploring. As he kept running the detector over the area of interest, the beeping carried on. This was uncommon, so he wondered if the metal detector was perhaps malfunctioning in the bad weather.

Not giving the idea that his detector was faulty too much thought, he resided himself to the fact that he may have stumbled onto something interesting. A voice in the back of his head kept telling him to carry on, even though he questioned whether he had actually found something to begin with.
