Playing in the sand
Jeff seemed more present than ever. “Let’s build the biggest sandcastle ever!” he challenged enthusiastically, picking up a colorful shovel. Tim joined in straight away, digging and shaping towers, laughing with each little impromptu competition. The sound of their laughter echoed along the beach, mingling with the murmur of the sea. Watching them like this, enjoying themselves, seemed like living proof that healing and reconnection were possible.

Playing in the Sand
Sunset and optimism
As the day drew to a close, the sky turned into a canvas of warm colors, orange and pink tinting the horizon. I sat on the sand, letting serenity wash over me while Tim, already drowsy, snuggled between us. “What a beautiful day,” I murmured, feeling that, for the first time in a long time, the future looked promising. It was as if we were turning a page – a new chapter where happiness was finally possible for our little family.
