One of the characters who withstood Charlie’s apparent charm, Cindy did draw the pubescent attention of Alan’s son Jake. He recreated her breasts as a school art project. Given the characters’ male role models, this all checks out. Cindy goes on to bond with Jake’s mother over their negative relationships with their own fathers. The idea that two women can be friends, or have any reason to exist other than to interact with him or his brother has Alan suspect them of being in a lesbian relationship.
