One of few long-lived relationships in Charlie’s repertoire, he and Lisa lived together and he acknowledged her as his girlfriend. The more serious the relationship grew the more apparent it became that the emotionally stunted Charlie was looking for the door. After the doomed relationship had run its course Lisa got married. She kept contact with Charlie promising to call if she ever got divorced. As one does. Low and behold she got divorced. Charlie and Lisa were reunited but he proved an unsurprisingly inadequate partner and co-parent to her and her child.
