When he joined the show, the character of Walden was still completely distraught over his divorce from Bridgette. Walden’s child-like mentality had gotten too much for Bridgette and she parted ways with the tech billionaire. As the story arc progressed Walden became embroiled in a serious relationship with the character Zoey. This sparked the flames of jealousy and soon Bridgette was in hot pursuit of her ex-husband. Bridgette’s character served as a driving force behind Walden’s new life with Alan and Jake. Not a permanent on-screen presence, her relevance in Walden’s back story saw the character referenced throughout Kutcher’s time on Two and a Half Men.
