Allison Janney as Beverly | Then
As was the nature of the relationship subplots revolving around Alan, Beverly’s character arc was far more fatuous, and debatably the better for it. Having met Beverly on an online dating site, Alan claimed that Charlie’s lavish home and lifestyle were his own. In a sweet twist, Alan opened up to Beverly about his deceit after she spilled her heart regarding her past failed marriages. The relationship was not derailed, and with Beverly forgiving him, things seemed set to go well for her and Alan. A rather strange and abrupt end befell their relationship when Charlie walked in on them during an ‘intimate moment’.
