Alan met Donna on a double date and the couple hit it off. It is hard to say why Alan grew bored with the relationship, perhaps it was too healthy, but suffice it to say he turns to Charlie for advice on ending things. It seems a prudent move, turning to Sheen’s character for advice on how to make a woman want nothing more to do with you. The advice is put into practice and Alan ends the relationship. Donna takes the breakup very badly but that hardly matters because by next week there will be brand new women to traumatize with their nonsense.
