Justine Eyre as Gabrielle | Then
Speaking of predictable plot lines, here’s an oldie but… well just an oldie really. Alan discovers that Charlie had stolen his high school girlfriend. Abandoning his character entirely he brashly sets out to take revenge and seduce Charlie’s most recent paramour, Gabrielle. It is slightly jarring to watch the usually timid Alan take such a forward approach to attempt seduction. Not entirely unrealistic given his character’s undertone of envy of his brother. In poor taste, Gabrielle falls for the trickery and Alan finds himself in an uncomfortable situation. He breaks things off so that the show can demonstrate even worse taste by having him walk in on Charlie and the aforementioned high school girlfriend. Seriously Chuck Lorre?
Justine Eyre as Gabrielle | Now
Eyre’s character on Two and a Half Men didn’t sit well with some fans. This doesn’t seem to be a big problem for the actor as she doesn’t seem to be active in the industry of late. She boasts an impressive body of work including on ‘CSI: Miami’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Mad Men’. Married to screenwriter John Allen, perhaps it is safe to assume she has chosen to focus on her personal life for the past couple of years.
