It was originally released on the John Wesley Harding album, which was the first time it was released. For his “Electric Ladyland” album, Jimi Hendrix recorded and recorded this song in the summer of 1968. In 1968, it rose to the twenty-first position on the list. Rolling Stone magazine ranked his version as the 47th best song of all time on their list of the greatest songs of all time.
