Troubled Hunt
In hindsight, Christopher cringed as he realized just how bad an idea it was for an ordinary citizen to go poking about such a hazardous place like a desolate goldmine. If expert miners, well accustomed to all manner of underground dangers and risks, had made a swift retreat out of the place, then why on Earth had Christopher done the opposite? It was abundantly clear that some terrible secret had chased the gold miners out.
