Running For Safety
Christopher retreated himself, rushing for his lovely home through the thickets. As he nearly tripped over roots and was swatted by low hanging tree branches, he cursed himself repeatedly for daring to take on such a lethal adventure. He was all alone, with nothing but a flashlight and a camera. There could have been poisonous gas, unseen pitfalls, and perhaps even dangerous individuals, the final threat being what Christopher had twice now been remarkably close to encountering.

Christopher might have been assured of his abilities on that second misadventure down “his” mine, but his ignorance had been swiftly dealt with by now. He hopped onto Google in search of information. This kind of fascinatingly grim place had to have been discussed somewhere in the cyber world. Trawling through spooky articles was far safer of shedding light on the situation than being chased through a perilously dark mineshaft!
