Walt Disney had the idea for a plush lounge at his theme park in the late 1960s, about a decade after he had opened the Happiest Place on Earth to the public. He wanted to entertain corporate sponsors there. The idea eventually morphed into Club 33, which is a private club and lounge that is exclusively accessible to its members. How much does membership cost? It is said that there is an entrance fee of $25,000 and yearly dues of $10,000, and even if someone has the money, the waiting list is actually ten years long.
