A Separation
Boasting much controversy in its time, this film is a storyline about an Iranian couple’s divorce, which all takes place during Iran’s voting crisis. Despite the film recieving much criticism from the Iranian regime, it went on to win an Oscar for Best Film In A Foreign Language. The film makes way for viewers to connect with the family and their dramas, as well as giving an insight into an aspect of Iranian culture and families.
