We can say Laurie Metcalf is a television royalty as back in 1988 when she got the role of Jackie Harris on Roseanne, she did a great job up until 1997. We would agree with her “self-described” workaholic attitude as she has won for herself lots of awards and credible nominations.
However, her role as Mary Cooper was so far-fetched as it related to her son, Sheldon, who we know was a highly-intelligent character. It was obvious!
