We can say Laurie Metcalf is a television royalty as back in 1988 when she got the role of Jackie Harris on Roseanne, she did a great job up until 1997. We would agree with her “self-described” workaholic attitude as she has won for herself lots of awards and credible nominations.
However, her role as Mary Cooper was so far-fetched as it related to her son, Sheldon, who we know was a highly-intelligent character. It was obvious!

Sara Gilbert – Leslie Winkle
Here we have another Roseanne alum as it somehow seems The Big Bang Theory and Roseanne have a link and share a lot between each other. Aside from those two shows, Sara also appeared in films like Will & Grace, 24, and Private Practice.
As of 2010, the actress has been the co-host and executive producer for The Talk, a popular talk show. Some of you would notice she went from one of the main characters to mere guest appearances as apparently, the producers were unable to come up with new content for her role.
