Ian Holm
This fantastic actor enjoyed a long and fruitful career that lasted across the 20th and 21st centuries. Ian Holm starred in many fantastic films, but his most beloved performance was probably as the whimsical Bilbo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings. He was also in Chariots of Fire. Holm would pass away in a hospital at the age of 88, among his loved ones and caregiver. Holm suffered from Parkinson’s disease, which would eventually cause the illness that took his life.
