Dame Barbara Windsor
It was on December 11th that Dame Barbara Windsor died. She was 83 years old. She was a leading member of the East Enders soap drama and Peggy Mitchell in Carry On. Windsor would develop Alzheimer’s in her old age. Windsor was recognized as an advocate for the LGBT+ community. She was honored by Boris Johnson upon passing as a supporter of vulnerable people and an essentially hilarious individual that brightened up people’s lives with her cheeky brand of humor.
