This is a seriously heartbreaking loss that broke the hearts of many MasterChef Junior fans. Ben Watkins was a talented young chef that participated in the competition for kids in its sixth season. Watkins was just 3 years old when he developed a passion for cooking. The young man would develop a rare and aggressive kind of cancer that would soon take his life when he was 14. It was a 3-year-long battle for Watkins.

Bert Belasco
Bert Belasco was an actor that was mainly known for his work with the Black Entertainment Channel. He was in Let’s Stay Together and various television shows like NCIS: New Orleans, Justified, Key & Peele, and Superstore. He also made a few appearances in I’m Dying Up Here and House. Belasco was found dead in a Virginia hotel room while he was gearing up for a film in production. He was a cheerful young man that left us far too soon.
