Norma Michaels featured in The King of Queens where she played Josephine. Hollywood was the place that Michaels would call home for about six decades. She was also a part of the Jack Benny Show. Michaels was part of the casts of many leading television shows, like Everybody Loves Raymond, Modern Family, and Highway to Heaven. She was also in films like Easy A and Wedding Crashers. She was a warm and benevolent soul who loved everyone that she came across.

It was during a sudden and heartbreaking public announcement that Boseman revealed that he was severely ill with colon cancer, a disease that his wife would later reveal he had been battling for four years. As inspiring and revolutionary as the Marvel Extended Universe epic Black Panther was, audiences had no idea what Boseman was truly fighting. The rest of the cast then put in extra effort to support the hero. Boseman was taken far too soon.
