Trade of Choice
Petty theft was the name of the game for the dynamic duo, and their small robberies at grocery stores and gas stations will live on in infamy. Many analysts argue that they did this purely for survival, which is a reflection on society at the time, rather than their ambitions to be millionaires. A life on the run was all they could do to ensure that their trade of choice did not land them in a jail sail more often than they hoped it would.
More complicated robberies, like those involving banks, are often harder to trace for law enforcement. Had Bonnie and Clyde been more professional, they may well have been resided to a different fate than what actually happened. All their choices and efforts served to further upset enforcement officials, leaving them killed and with very little show for their time on the run.
